MANILA - Jam Sebastian, half of the popular YouTube tandem and real-life couple Jamich, recently confirmed that he has been diagnosed with cancer.
Sebastian and Paolinne Michelle Liggayu rose to online fame for their videos about love and relationships, with their YouTube channel boasting of over 72 million views.
On their Instagram page, Sebastian revealed that he is set to undergo treatment for the next four months.
He went on to thank his brother Yexel for helping with his medical expenses which amount to P20,000 a day, and Liggayu for always being there to support him.
Yan ang narinig ko sa kanya," Sebastian said of his brother, who owns a toy museum.
In a previous Instagram post, Sebastian said that doctors found a lump in his lungs.
In December 2011, Jamich appeared on the ABS-CBN show "Gandang Gabi Vice" hosted by Vice Ganda.
After performing on the show, the two gave Vice Ganda a life-size horse statue made of fiberglass.
Aside from "Gandang Gabi Vice," Jamich also made a guest appearance on "Kris TV," where they shared their love story with host Kris Aquino.
Last year, singer Zsa Zsa Padilla said she is ready to give love a second chance after watching one of Jamich's videos.
